Dundee, Great Britain Dundee Mountain Film Festival

The Festival was established to promote interest in films relating to mountain activities, exploration, the mountain environment and the diverse cultures found in mountainous regions. The Festival is currently a non-competitive event. Eminent mountaineers, explorers, filmmakers and cameramen are invited to make personal presentations at the Festival which also features top class and award winning films from around the world. Prizes are not awarded but appropriate financial arrangements are agreed. Many voluntary organizations involved in recreational activities in the mountains and those, whose interests are the conservation of the mountain environment, participate in the Festival.

When: the last weekend of November each year.
