Rio Mountain Festival
15/10/2025 - 19/10/2025The Rio Mountain Festival, held in Rio de Janeiro, stands out for its unique natural setting: between the sea and the mountains of the city, home to the world's largest urban forest. With a selection of films celebrating outdoor activities, adventure sports, environmental awareness, and the rich mountain culture, the event offers the public inspiring and exciting moments.
Since 2011, the festival has also hosted the "Mountains of the World" photography contest, which awards one photographer an exhibition and increases the visibility of their work. Additionally, literary activities, such as book launches and climbing guides, and audiovisual lectures complement the program, providing an even deeper immersion in the culture and history of the mountains.
